Cwmni Dawns Werin Caerdydd’s annual festival, Gŵyl Ifan, brings the colour and joy of welsh dancing to the streets of Cardiff by welcoming Welsh and European folk dancers to Cardiff to celebrate midsummer.
This year, our 40th, will be the last Gŵyl Ifan in its current form and so we look forward to welcoming as many dancers as possible from across Wales to the twmpath on the Friday night. On Saturday, we will be dancing publicly in various locations around Cardiff city centre and at St Fagan’s National History Museum before hosting a feast in the evening. Dancers from the Netherlands, Brittany, France and Cornwall will also be participating in the festivities. 24-26 of June, 2016, Angel Hotel, Cardiff.
